Dr. Roosevelt G. Daniel, MD, FAAP, BCIM

Chief Medical Officer, Peak Performance Safety Training (PPST)

Dr. Roosevelt G. Daniel is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and pediatrics. He brings over two decades of clinical experience as Chief Medical Officer for the Peak Performance Safety Training (PPST) program. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2001. He completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and Pitt County Memorial Hospital. ​

Currently serving as Medical Director at North Central Family Medicine in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Dr. Daniel is deeply committed to community health and preventive care. His dedication to improving health outcomes is evident in his co-authorship of a quality improvement project to enhance cervical cancer screening guidelines.

As Chief Medical Officer of PPST, Dr. Daniel leads the development of evidence-based training modules that focus on critical aspects of health and performance, including nutrition, hydration, sleep, and the management of Sickle Cell Trait (SCT) and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in high-exertion environments. His leadership ensures that PPST provides inclusive, life-saving education for athletes, first responders, healthcare professionals, and community members.
